Another reason players attack each other is to gain points in each Age's PVP Tournament. This can mean your many hours of waiting and spent gold/supplies for goods can be wasted. Other players can attack you to cash in on your ready to collect gold, supplies, and goods. They're also potentially interesting for manual attacks between their ability to move first, hide, relatively fast movement & decent range but most people do hate them because they don't combine well with rogues or other types of troops besides mechanized artillery.Defense is an important part of the game.
They're interesting for DA inclusions in GvG as they hose artillery which is one of the favorites to attack with.
Mechanized infantry: if you didn't like armored cars, you're probably going to hate these - as they're the same sort of unit but don't have as much of an advantage over their age as the PE one did Mechanized artillery: also very good against many setups (only really has trouble with (a lot of) mech infantry or (a few) paratroopers) It was tanks in progressive that I found most underwhelming.īattle tanks: all around strong, good choiceīazooka teams: best auto for GvG if you've got good boost (they're slow so they won't run ahead and die, and they've got good matchups with most of the troops people actually produce and you're likely to see in DAs) My first time through progressive they were my favorite unit. 1) armored cars were great in progressive, but you have to use them carefully.
